Description
Purple Pattern is an art print I created using an impasto style of oil painting (Impasto: a style of painting that creates large bold brush strokes by laying the paint on very thickly and was first used in late 18th century Italy). The inspiration behind this piece is purely shape and color. I love a bold bright colored abstract. The shapes and color combinations have to please the eye or make a strong statement. Playing with a variety of looks, I settled on these shapes and these colors.
