Sunset Over the Pacific is an art print I created using an impasto oil technique. This technique uses bold brush strokes and strong colors to create a vibrant art print in a traditional style. The setting is Carlsbad, California along the coast highway as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean. Carlsbad is located in the northern part of San Diego County and is a popular beach town.
