Artist's Description
Pacific Ocean Sunset is an art print where I used a traditional watercolor technique. This technique uses subtle brush strokes and colors creating a soft, warm look. This particular art print depicts a sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The setting is the northern coastline of San Diego County. The scene looks out over the hills of Carlsbad at the Pacific Ocean. The sun has just set, reflecting vibrant colors onto the high level clouds in the sky.

I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them change shape...if they could only stay in one shape long enough for me to enjoy and appreciate them....but that's not how it works. What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated.
