Artist's Description
Farm in the Valley is a sepia tone photographic art print of a farm nestled in a valley. I was on a photo shoot of farms in the Amana Colonies area of Iowa in a February time frame. I had taken a side road into the hills surrounding the Iowa River when I came across this scene. I used a sepia tone finish on the photograph for that old rustic look. The sepia brown tones originated with film photography as part of the process to develop the prints in the 1800’s. Today, we can recreate that same vintage look digitally.
