Artist's Description
Yard Lamp and Vine is an art print I created using an abstract watercolor technique. This technique uses abstract shapes and strong lines to create a more modern look. The setting is a garden lamp attached to an adobe wall in a courtyard located on the grounds of the Alamo in San Antonio Texas. The courtyard is full of tress, bushes and plantings. Under this garden lamp is a bench to sit and enjoy the afternoon. Completing the look of the courtyard is also an old adobe ranch house restored to its original look.

What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated.
