Description
Walking Up The Pyramid is a sepia tone photographic art print. It captures the steep steps of the Kukulkan pyramid in the center of the Chichen Itza complex found in the middle of the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. What makes this picture a little unique is the foot traffic going up the side of the pyramid. The steps are narrow and steep. Going up isn't too bad, coming down is the challenge. The pyramid is now closed to foot traffic and has been for a number of years. I would assume accidents and mishaps forced the restriction. Having done the climb myself, I would attest to the ease of potential mishaps.
