Artist's Description
Red Barn in the Valley is an art print I created using a pointillism watercolor technique. This technique uses round dot brush strokes and subdued and subdued colors creating a soft, warm look. This particular print depicts the red barn of a farm in a valley. The setting is rural Iowa in the area surrounding the Amana Colonies in eastern Iowa. The time of year is mid winter with just hints of snow left here and there.
