Description
"Mountain Meadow Lake is a wall art print done in an abstract watercolor technique of a lake in a mountain meadow. This technique uses abstract shapes and clean lines to create a sharp contemporary look. The inspiration behind this print is Hidden Lake just outside of Whistler, British Columbia. I wanted to capture the essence of the serenity of the scene. When considering an art print, the interior design of the room comes into play and the look you are going for with any given print comes into the decision process. This particular style of art print works well in contemporary room dcor. However, an influencing factor is the framing and matting style, which can dictate what dcor the final piece will look good in versus just the style of the art print.

I love this technique, Kirt! Actually makes me think of a series of paintings I did back in college...love how a few gestural lines can give the brain enough information for it to fill in the rest of the scene!!....very lovely and well done....fv
